Chapter five Scene light up to show Abeke lying on her bed, Suddenly Adeoye enters and she stands up to greet him Abeke:welcome Ademi Adeoye:I need some money from you Abeke: but Ademi I dont have any money with me,I have not been able to go to shop Adeoye:so what do you do at home, you sit and invite men over abi Abeke:you know that i'll never do such,Ademi, I have just been sick that is why I have not been able to go to shop Adeoye:sick my foot! So are you telling me you can't afford a token of #500,000 for me Abeke:Ademi, that is some huge amount of money, I don't have any money with me,and moreover have you squandered all the money you just collected from me Adeoye:(he slaps her and she fell on the bed)so do you now ask me how I spend my money, so you cant work when you have your two legs and hands two work with,well I will teach you a lesson this afternoon Abeke was suddenly afraid,and start to plead Abeke: Ademi please spare me,I beg off you,I'm sorry,please do not beat me Adeoye:well,I am not beating you, but you will regret been born this afternoon He drags her by the hair and pull her towards the kitchen,she quickly falls on her kneels thinking he was going to hurt her with a knife Abeke:Ademi please,don't do this to me,I am sorry for talking back.

Adeoye:oh! Chapter 4
Tiwalola woke up around 5:00 am and kneel down to pray, she walk into the sitting room and saw the key that was placed on the table,she knew it was dropped by her father,she hissed as she pick it up,and headed for the kitchen,she met her mother cooking and she hug her from behind
Abeke:good morning my pride
Tiwa:I love you mom( I replied,and she kiss my forehead and smile)
Abeke:I love you too my pride,go and prepare for school, I made you rice and dodo
Tiwa:thank you mother(she heads for her room and stop to tell her mother about the key)father,dropped the key
Abeke:yes,I had to beg him to give me the spare key,he refuse but I pleaded that you need to go to school, that was when he yielded.You didn't tell me he came with some_(she paused finding word to qualify the stripers and I laugh)with some visitors
Tiwa:they ain't visitors,they are strippers

**TIWALOLA POV( in school)**

scene lights up to show Adeoye alighting from his car,he walk into the well built house, and knocks on the door,the door opens and a lady,opens it,she smile seductively at him and pulls him in and close the door behind him.
She descended on his lips and kiss him hungrily and Adeoye increase the tempo,by squeezing her breast and kissing her back hungrily,the Lady suddenly reached for his belt,trying to unhook it and at the same time pulling each other to the chair,their cloth were soon pull off and they made love right there on the sofa..

My father came home late in the night heavily drunk,he was accompanied by two strippers,they were a disgusting sight,I hissed as he walk in to his room with the two strippers holding him by each side,he stopped and turn around to face me when he heard me hissed

Tiwa:Father, you locked the door and did not allow me to go to school today
Adeoye:is that what I asked you,are you now daring me? Tiwa,are you in your right sense
Tiwa:(I muttered a "sorry" and shrugged)
Adeoye:so that slut of your mother as been teaching you to be rude towards me
Tiwa:my mother is not a slut,and she will never be,at least she is far better than this bitchy strippers you cherished(before I knew it,my father landed a slap on my cheek,I hold my cheek as it stings)
Adeoye:that is for insulting my visitor,you bastard,I should have given you the beating of your life but I will spare you till another day
He went into his room with the strippers and I went into my mother room to check on her,she was standing by the window,looking towards the sky,it was her favourite spot,she turn around when I opened the door and I walk towards her

Abeke:Thanks for fighting for Me but please I don't want you to get beaten because of me,he hasn't beat you because he loves you,please don't provoke him
Tiwa:mother,why must you always be supporting him,mommy,please don't say that again
Abeke:I must,he is my husband,I vowed to stay with him till death rip us apart, he was my love,I still love him
Tiwa:love my foot!look here mom,am fed up with father,I am going to kill him if he kills you,mother let us run away,must he be your death sentence

Chapter 2
Tiwalola opens the door to her mother room carrying a plate of fried eggs and some slice bread with tea in a tray,Abeke open her eyes as tiwalola kissed her and she smile
Tiwa:good morning mommy,hope your night was fine?
Abeke: yes,my pride
Tiwa:i made you some food,I will be going to school now and make sure you eat it
Abeke:okay, your father?
Tiwa:he was not home yesterday
Abeke:how will you be able to go to school,he locked the door yesterday
Tiwa:(she sighs)I forgot that already,it means I will have to stay at home again
Abeke:I am sorry,everything will soon be okay
Tiwa nods her head,this wasn't the first time her father had always make her skip school,she went out after telling her mother to stand up and eat
**ABEKE POV**
Well,oh yes! I am Abeke,a typical Yoruba lady to the core,I was the only daughter of late Mr and Mrs Adekoya.My parent were very rich and when they died I was the next in kin to their properties,my life was the best,my parent made sure I had the best when growing up.I had a happy family and I prayed to have such,which I did have but as suddenly turn sour,I met Adeoye at a friend birthday party,he was cute,so handsome that I have fallen in love with him for the first time,he was sweet with his words,yes,Adeoye was the perfect one I needed,we hang out after the birthday but he never ask me out,I was dying inside of me,we were friends for over a year before he finally ask me out,that day was really a happy day for me,he was a good man to the core,each of our friends always envy us,we were always the talk of everyone,they always wished for our love,when I got pregnant our joy knew no bounds,our daughter grew in love,with care,but I was unable to conceive again,and the bad nightmare started when my husband start having concubines.._that was how my marriage crashed__
Scene flashed back to years ago to show Abeke pacing up and down in the sitting room,Tiwalola was of eight years old by then...The clock on the wall chimes 12:00am and Abeke was worried, beads of sweat were seen forming on her forehead,she was scared,then the door opens and Adeoye enters,heavily drunk
Abeke:Ademi,this is 12:00 on dot,what exactly are you doing late till this time
Adeoye:Tiwa,I have always warn you not to stay up waiting for me,why should you?
Abeke:Ademi,can you hear yourself speak,how can I sleep when you were not yet back,Ademi you have been unfair to me this few days,what exactly have I done to you to deserve this!Adeoye: look here,I am not ready for your stories this night
Abeke: You even slapped me four days ago and you did not even feel remorse about it,Ademi tell me whatever I have done so I can apologise
Adeoye:look here,am sick and tired of you,you have only been a pain in the ass to me,let me be,leave me to my life
Abeke:Ademi,are you joking or what? I won't have you cheating on me,you've been cheating on me and I decided to keep it cool by not asking you,and you dare to raise your hand on me
Adeoye:(he laughs wickedly and move closer to her and pull her to him)so are you telling me you are watching me,right?..you are trailing me?..I will teach you a lesson not to do that again
He dropped his hand on her cloth and pulled at his belt,Abeke was scared and surprised, she stepped back but Adeoye was faster than her as he landed the belt on her,she fell on the girl sleeping in the process and made her woke up,Adeoye beat her to pulp and tiwalola watched helplessly as her mother weeps afterwards...

Episode 1...



 lights up to show a girl in her room,her head were buried under her duvet,and her body was shaken as a result of the sobbing.She increased the tempo of her tears when she heard the voice of a woman scream from the other room.Then the voice died down but she could hear her sob softly and then the door opened and she heard footsteps,she knew the footstep was not going to stop at her door,so she waited until she heard the door that link outside opened and closed again with a snap,knowing fully well that they were locked inside again_inside the hell_.
She stood up,clean her tears and walk out of the room,she stopped when she got to the third door and open it,there she saw the woman whose voice_voice of pains,regrets_ had always run throughout the whole house,sitting at one corner of the room,her hair in disarray, her cloth were torn,her tears were falling without any sound of a cry,the woman didn't look up so she walk into the room and bent down beside the woman
Tiwa:mommy,please look at me
She refused to look up but now she was crying and sounds of her cries could be heard
Tiwa:mommy, for how long,for how long mommy?
The woman suddenly stopped crying but still refuse to look up,as if she was shy to look at her
Abeke:am sorry my pride, but it won't happen again
This wasn't the first time her mom will always say that,and it always makes her more angry anytime she says so,she stood up and swallow the lump in her throat
Tiwa:am coming back
She made to leave but the woman suddenly looked up and hold her leg,knowing fully well that she was going to get a bowl of water and towel to dab at her fresh wounds
Abeke:please tiwalola,I will be fine
Tiwa:(without looking at her) just leave me and let me be,mommy please let go off me
Abeke:seriously,Tiwalola,I will be fine
Tiwa:(she faced her and that was when she saw her bloodshot eyes and it made her scream and she bend down again holding her face.


Tiwa:mommy,what did he hit you with this time around?
Abeke:(refusing to look at her) I fell down and hit my eyes on the bedside
Tiwa:(knowing fully well that she was lying)mommy you are lying,you always refuse to look at me whenever you are lying
Abeke:Tiwalola,I am not,I fell down
Tiwa:well,now is not the right time to argue with you(she stood up again,and this time around the woman made her go)
**TIWALOLA POV**
I walk into the kitchen,grab the kettle and pour some water into it and put it on the gas,I stood there and place my hands on the kitchen cabinet waiting for the water to boil,few minute after the water gave sign and I put off the gas,and pour some quantity of the water into a bowl and add some cold water also,I grabbed the towel hanging on the rack,with the bowl and kettle in my hand and walk into my mother's room,she had change position this time around sitting on the chair in her room,I placed the things in my hand on the table and proceeded into nursing her wound,none of us said anything as I took care of her wounds which had always been my daily routine which i had gotten use to,I took the balm in her little wardrobe and applied it where necessary,I went out again and came in with a plate of rice and fried dodo which she decline to eat but I had to force her so she could take some pain relieving drugs,she ate little and took the drugs
Tiwa:mommy,go and sleep
Abeke went to bed,and I made sure I had the duvet covered her whole body and I kissed her forehead
Abeke:please go and take some rest too,you will be going to school tomorrow,I don't want you to wake up late
Tiwa:I know mother but I will wait till you fall asleep
Abeke:I will surely sleep tiwalola,please go
Tiwa:mommy,promise me you won't cry after I leave
Abeke:I won't, my pride
I went out of her room after kissing her,and went into my room,I fell on the bed and sigh heavily.
I think I haven't given you the proper introduction of who I am, and am sorry for that, well like you already know I am Tiwalola,a name I cherished so well because it was my mother that gave me the name, well to be sincere,we use to have a happy home until my father, Aderinola Adeoye turned to the monster,devil that he became today and destroy the happiness. Well it all started when I was eight years old,mommy couldn't have a baby after she had me and my father want a lot of baby,four to be precise,daddy started keeping late nights and mommy was really worried and when mother voice out her thoughts she had gotten two slaps in return, we were dazed and my Abeke,my mother,my soul,my best friend, my better half had cried her eyes out.That had been the beginning of our bad, worst nightmare, and now I'm fifteen years old and mom as been a victim of abuse for seven good years.
**Author's POV**
Abeke had slept soundly with the help of the drugs she used and tiwalola who was not able to sleep,comes to check on her,seeing that she was fast asleep,she closed the door and went into her room and prepares to sleep..
In another background,the light lit up clearly to show a man known as Aderinola Adeoye sitting in the club with two strippers sitting beside him,one was caressing her and the other was feeding him with snails and beer,his two other friends were also having fun and they were all chatting and laughing...

Yvonne cried when she heard her mother walking away and the guy yanked off her panty and thrust into her,hurting her with the first thrust,she kept on screaming and fighting and crying but her strength were of no use

Yvonne stared out of the minibus window.It was raining heavily and the pavements of each building were glistening grey.The sky above were soft,dull and boring.Yvonne sighed and thoughts that even the sky looks alot like her_grey_dull_and boring but softer_like her".But she was on a blind date today and she thought maybe today blind date will change everything in her life!

Yvonne rubbed her small nose against the minibus window, the rain was falling harder,she could hear it drumming on the minibus roof,they were almost fifteen passengers in the bus ,all chatting over and over again. Everyone was either laughing on a joke but only Yvonne bored life was the only thing she could think of

Suddenly the minibus pulled into a huge empty car park and everyone all rushed down. Yvonne alighted and entered into a restaurant which she had booked for the blinddate.Dresssed in a pink and black skirt with pink shoes,and she was lookin prim and simple,she sat down on one of the chairs and not quite long her phone rang

Yvonne: yes Romeo, just come in,I am in a pink shirt and black skirt ( she life up her eyes and saw the man she had been waiting for, their eyes met and when the guy smile, she managed a little smile back,dropped the phone in her hand and stared as he walked up to her

Romeo: glad to meet you,Yvonne

Stunned Yvonne could only stammered in return,the guy settled on the chair and gave her a Peck on her cheeks and that brought another wide eyes from Yvonne,she wasn't expecting this kind of guy,he was well built,tall,slim,beautiful and he had a lean torso, he was just too handsome

Romeo: what are we gonna order for Yvonne( he smiled)

His smile melt her,she was feeling happy inside

Yvonne:hmm,I will just order for hot tea first,cox am still a bit cold from the rain

Romeo:hot tea?(he lifted his eyebrow) okay,but if you will be taken hot tea for now I won't be able to eat without you eating and I'm damn hungry l.
